We will guide you through the resources and partnerships available through MMA, affiliate associations, and educational institutions across the state to help you identify opportunities to upskill your team, support career advancement, and meet the evolving needs of your community—all without straining your budget.
We’ll highlight two key partnerships:
• The Harold Alfond Center for the Advancement of Maine’s Workforce – Learn how the Maine Workforce Development Compact can help your municipality access grant funding and tuition discounts for short-term training and courses designed to build critical skills.
• University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) – Discover flexible learning options and tuition discounts available to municipal officials, employees, and volunteers across UMA’s diverse program offerings.
Join us to gain practical insights and actionable strategies to support the development of your municipality’s greatest assets – the people!
