This webinar will provide an overview of cannabis regulation and enforcement issues for municipal officials, including:

•                    Legal updates related to cannabis policy

•                    Information on when and how municipalities can regulate cannabis, including issues related to zoning and ordinances

•                    Tools and procedures available for enforcement, from both the municipal and state perspectives

•                    Advice on when and how to utilize the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy for compliance

•                    This session is designed to help local officials with enforcement of state and local adult use and medical cannabis regulations in their communities. It will NOT provide criminal investigatory or arrest advice for police.

•                    This session is designed to provide general information related to cannabis enforcement issues and may not be able to address specific issues related to an individual municipality’s circumstances.
